I was recently at PPPJ'09 and stayed at Travelodge Calgary University. I have to say, Travelodge is one of the best hotel chains I have stayed at. On top of the usual amenities for a 3 star hotel, they have a fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, complimentary breakfast, individual soaps and shampoo bottles instead of containers on the wall, free 1-800 type calls from the room, and free wireless internet. Can you guess which amenity made me most happy? =) Two extra notes: they might have a free gym and pool as well, and I'm not sure what other locations look like, although the chain is probably quite standardized. On top of that they have probably the most competitive rates relative to the other chains.
