I experienced an event that occurs seldomly, vim crashed. Fortunately it saves work and all the edits have been recovered.

On another note, I was reminded today of the disparity in costs of technology between countries. My mom is in Poland, and the cost to call Poland from Canada costs is an order of magnitude lower than the cost to call Canada from Poland. Why the disparity, which is compounded by differences in mean wages? I don't know, and I don't know what the sites or keywords are to find more information on the web.

And on a third note, four websites that I visit to listen to music are: Radio Paradise, CBC Radio 3, Download.com, and HeartSpring.net. All are really good. Since I don't pirate music and my CD collection is rather small these sites are my main source of music.
