Showing source code in html

Tags: syntax highlighting, vim, pretty printingMay 19, 2008

For a long time now I have been trying to figure out how to display code nicely in html. I have searched many times on the web and could never find a satisfactory answer. And the answer was under my nose the entire time. Vim has the ability to create html that contains syntax highlighted code. Search for the help topic 2html in vim (":help 2html") to find out more.

I found this information by going through google's syntax highlighter website to a post on Olivier Mengue's blog. The post is titled "Syntax highlighting on this blog using semantic tags and vim".
