I have listed all of the programming links that I have found useful. I have marked the most useful sites with three exclamation marks at the end of the title. Note that if you look at the source code you will see many links that are commented out. In the future these will be removed. TODO Fix the journals/repository section - move nasm down and the rest should go elsewhere, also the emulation sites seem to disappear

MSDN Online Library !!! MSDN Online is an all-in-one reference for Windows 95 programming.
MFC Programmer's Source Book Contains many articles about MFC programming.
System Internals This web site has a ton of great utilities for windows including their source code.

Gamasutra - The Art & Science of Making Games !!! A good site that has very interesting and up-to date articles about game development.
GameDev.net A reference page for game programming.
Amit's Game Programmer Information A site with information on game programming.
ID Software A company that makes great video games and provides the source code for some of the games.

Java(TM) SI: Platform Documentation !!! Java documentation from the creators of Java.
15 Seconds A web site dedicated to Active Server network programming.
W3C HTML Validation Service A web site that allows people to check whether their web pages are valid under the W3C specifications.
Java as LV1 A site that has good introductory Java Applets. The most important thing I learnt here is that you do not need to have a Layout to put controls on a window.
