Personal Information

I was born in Poland in 1978.  Since then I went to many different schools, and lived in several different countries:  Poland, Germany, and Canada.  The first school which I attended for more than two years is St. Michael's College School.  I was there for five years.  I graduated from St. Mike's in 1997 and went to the University of Toronto to study Computer Engineering.  I'm in the graduating class of 0T1 for my BASc. My MASc thesis, completed in 2004, is titled "The Use of Traces in Optimization". My PhD thesis, completed in 2010 is titled "Automatic Program Parallelization Using Traces".

During my time at U of T, I have worked in the Metallurgy and Materials Science Department at the University of Toronto during the 1998, 1999, and 2000 summers.  I have also worked in the department after it was renamed to Material Science and Engineering.

I am now working at Altera as a design engineer and spending my time outside of work with my family.
