I have noticed that recent laptops use the 1366x768 resolution instead of the 1440x800 resolution. Furthermore, the 15.4 inch screens have moved to 15.6 inch screens. The result is that the screens look a lot worse. Caveat emptor.

P.S. Sorry about the recent dearth of blog entries. I have been busy finishing my thesis. I have also started work, and there is a lot less that I can blog about because most of my computer activities are work related (and thus confidential).
