Database performance may have a major impact on the success or failure of a WebSphere project. DB2 expertise is key to many WebSphere projects. Ed Woods speaker has over 20 years of experience in the data processing industry, primarily in the area of DB2, IMS, and MVS systems programming. He has been a Systems Engineer with Candle Corporation for more than 10 years, supporting the Candle DB2, IMS, and e-Business product lines.
Ed has presented at IDUG North America, IDUG Europe, Guide, Share, CMG, and at regional DB2 User groups on DB2 technical and performance topics. In addition, he has presented as a part of Candle Performance Road Shows, and has published articles in Candle Computer Report and IDUG Solutions Journal. At IDUG North America 2000, he was named Best Overall Speaker.
