DB2 UDB TRENDS AND DIRECTIONS - A SNEAK PREVIEW OF THINGS TO COME
What will 2002 bring for DB2 Universal Database on the distributed platform?
This session will explore and demonstrate the new technology that will be introduced into the DB2 product and how customers will be able to take advantage of these features. The presentation will also cover any recent announcements that were made for the DB2 UDB product line.

In 1991, Baklarz was part of the team that helped moved the OS/2 ES database to Toronto to become part of the DB2 family of products. Since this time he has worked on tradeshow support, vendor enablement, competitive analysis, product marketing, product planning, and technical sales support.
Today, Baklarz is the Manager of the Worldwide DB2 Pre-sales Support Group.
He works with customers to help them understand the new DB2 technology directions and uses their feedback to help improve the DB2 family of products.
